eAdvice users provide their real names and information and your privacy and safety is very important to us. Here is the commitments you make to us relating to registering and using the eAdvice services:

1. You will not provide any false personal information or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.

2. You confirm that you are 18+ years old and will provide your date of birth for our records.

3. You confirm that you are the owner of the charge card you have used to sign up for the eAdvice service, or you have the permission of the card holder.

4. You confirm that you are aware of the client fees.

Unless we explicitly agree otherwise, our email exchange is confidential. Our records are confidential. This confidentiality may be challenged by a court of law or by law enforcement authorities who are contacted for suspected child, spouse, elderly abuse, web stalking and harassment. We will make every attempt to report threats to harm yourself or others, as part of sound practices.

Helping you to put trauma behind you and to enhance emotional, spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing for a positive lifestyle is what our exchange is all about. We don’t facilitate any process that is counter-productive to these fundamentals. Either of us is free to terminate our relationship at any time for any reason. If you decide to terminate, it would be advisable to drop me a note stating the reasons for leaving. In the unlikely event I become convinced our eMail exchange is not in your interest, I will explain that to you and suggest some alternative options better suited for your needs.

You agree that you will make a good-faith effort at personal growth and engage in this counselling process as an important priority at this time in you life.

eAdvice is a great way to get help with many of life’s problems. It is not a universal substitute for face-to-face therapy.

You accept that eAdvice does not provide emergency services. Since an email exchange lacks sufficient information to yield significant any health diagnosis, you accept responsibility for assessing your health needs.

You attest that your inquiry is for personal advice, and that you are not conducting research for any type of reporting, private or public.

You are responsible for information security on your computer. If you decide to keep copies of our emails on your computer, it’s up to you to keep that information secure.
